Default adding values in tables

hi! does anyone know how to add values in a single column on a table in word?
how do i display the total in a bottom row?

Default adding values in tables

What version of Word? The method may differ slightly, but basically on the
Tables menu in versions before 2007, or in the Data section of the Table
ToolsLayout tab in Word 2007, there is a Formula item that you can use to
do this.
