Word 2000 run after trial version Word 2003
A while back I bought a Computer with Word 2003 trial version installed.
After the trial period ended I decided Word 2000 had all the features I needed. I uninstalled Word 2003 and install my legal Word 2000. It would not operate at all. I exhausted all means of tech support to try to solve the problem. Finally I decided to create another user and install it on the new user. It ran perfect. So that tells me that Word 2003 trail version had a lock file and will not allow word 2000 to run. Has anybody had any experience with this. Does that lock file keep Word 2000 from running? If so, what is the file name and where is it located? Would appreciate any help. -- xxxx |
