Default How to insert a column of a table at the end of another table

I try to insert a column resulting from another table in my main table. The
function Table / Insert / Columns to the right does not work.

The column which I try to insert comes to position in LAST BUT ONE column
but impossible to paste her as LAST column.

Thank you for your help and support !

Place the insertion point at the end of first row of the table,
immediately to the left of the end-of-row marker (¤). Pasting a column
from the clipboard should now work.

To see end-of-row markers, press Ctrl+Shift+8 or press the ¶ button on
the Standard toolbar; either method displays nonprinting marks. To
learn more about nonprinting marks, see
http://word.mvps.org/faqs/formatting/NonPrintChars.htm.

I wonder if smart cut and paste could cause this? (I'd test it myself,
if I currently had access to a Word 2002/2003 installation.) In a test
document, you could experiment with the settings for tables. See:

Options used for "Smart cut and paste" settings in Word

Default How to insert a column of a table at the end of another table

Hi;

Do the following:
1. On the view menu, point Toolbarbars, and then click Tables and Borders.
2. Click the Draw Table botton on the Tables and Border Toolbar.
A pencil cursor is displayed.
3. Click on the top of the cell you want to insert a column and drag down
till the base of the cell(s).
Similarly, you can click the Erase button on the Table and Borders button to
deleted the table boreder to need to delete. Deleting any border will remove
the border of cell and display as a single merged cell. You can create a
nested table this way.

Thank you Challa, but your solution works only inserting a new column. I have
to paste an existing column into another table and this function does not
work...

Are you sure you're selecting the end-of-row markers and not the last
column?
