Need RTF converter for office 97 Word
Need RTF converter for office 97 Word on XP OS. I tried wrd97cnv.exe and it
didnt work. |

You should be able to save as RTF from your version, and Word97 will have no problem reading the RTF file. RTF readers just ignore all features they don't know. And when Word saves as RTF, it puts in a lot of additional information just to make sure that older versions can handle features that didn't exist at the time. wrd97cnv.exe is a converter that allows you to read Word97 docs in older versions like Word95. Thank you very much for your response. It turns out I do have RTF as you suggested. I simply had never had need of it before and didnt realize until you explained that I could go to Save As and save it as an RTF!
