Envelope Set-up
In printing an envelope, the addresses appear to be blocked out. Only the
bottom right portion of the return address shows and none of the "send to" address appears. The envelope looks fine in the Print Layout view, but in Print Preview the addresses get blocked out. What could be doing this? I am using an HP 1320 Laser Jet if that helps. Thanks. -- David |

Print an "envelope" on a plain sheet of paper to see where it is printing.
Then adjust the envelope feed setting in the Envelope Options accordingly. -- Suzanne S. Suzanne,
Thanks. That helped partially and diagnostically. When I print directly from the Print Envelope Wizard, it works fine. When I say "Add to Document" and try to print from the document, the alignment drops the text out of the margins and prints outside the assigned envelope margins. Any ideas? Thanks !!! -- David "Suzanne S. Barnhill" wrote: Print an "envelope" on a plain sheet of paper to see where it is printing. Check which feed tray is set for Section 1 of the document (the envelope) on
the Paper or Paper Source tab of Page Setup. There may be some adjustment you can make there to print the envelope differently. -- Suzanne S. Thanks, Suzanne. That seemed to work. Now how do I make it the permanent
default setting, so I don't have to change it with each envelope? -- David "Suzanne S. Beats me; I would guess there's a Registry entry somewhere that controls it.
