Default autotext

I have the new Office Word at work, I use to be able to add in contact
details ect to auto texts to save me rewriting the details. When I typed
someones surname it automatically came up with the contact details ect, I
just pressed enter and it was done. However now when I write the details they
do not come up automatically I have to go through the whole list and find the
contact.

Can anyone help?

many thanks

This is because the AutoComplete feature has been removed from Word
2007. But note that you can still press F3 to insert the AutoText
entry, after you've typed its name.

The AutoText is still there, but the automatic completion doesn't work
any more. Instead of getting a popup and pressing Enter, you have to
press F3 after typing at least the unique first part of the name.

Microsoft has heard the howls of disappointed users, but there are no
hints yet of whether or when the AutoComplete will be restored.
