Make Office Basic 2007 look like standard Office?
I am setting up a computer for a friend and because she only
needed Word and Excel and no need for Access, MS Office Basic 2007 was purchased. When I started it, I was horrified to see a "tab" settings at the top of Home, Insert, Page Layout, Formulas, Data, Review, View instead of the old Toolbar format. Looks like they are calling them "Ribbons" Is there a way to display Toolbars instead of Ribbons? |

No - that's the way it is.
You *may* find the free version of http://ribboncustomizer.com/ useful and you *may* find http://www.gmayor.com/Toolbars_in_word_2007.htm similarly useful. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org Joseph wrote: I am setting up a computer for a friend and because she only needed Word and Excel and no need for Access, MS Office Basic 2007 was purchased.
