Insert a section break and keep section together on one page
We have a long document which we want to break up into sections; we want to
keep sections together so they don't break across pages. Can anyone assist with this? |

Use continuous section breaks.

Insert a section break and keep section together on one page
Hi Teri,
"keep sections together so they don't break across pages"... Do you mean that you always want the start of a section on the same page as the section end? Since the end of section x is the start of section y, this is only possible if your document is one page long. If you want certain paragraphs to always appear on the same page, select all but the last and check Format | Paragraph... | tab 'Line and Page Breaks' | 'Keep with next'. Then select all paragraphs and check Format | Paragraph... | tab 'Line and Page Breaks' | Keep lines together. Good luck, Cooz -- PS: If this is a satisfying answer to your question and you're logged in via the Microsoft site, please click Yes to "Did this post answer the question?". Thanks. There's nothing to stop you putting a continuous section break in the middle of a page. |

For starters, what do you mean by "sections"?
