password protect word forms document
I want to password protect a forms document, but the "protect document" task
pane won't allow me to enter a password. The editing restriction check off box is gray. I cannot enter anything to set parameters to protect the document. |

First make sure your document hasn't been set as a main document for
mail merge. On the Mail Merge toolbar click "Main document setup" and make sure "Normal Word document" is selected. Please post all follow-up questions to the newsgroup. Requests for assistance by email can not be acknowledged. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Beth Melton Microsoft Office MVP TechTrax eZine: http://mousetrax.com/techtrax/ MVP FAQ site: http://mvps.org/ "rlw" wrote in message ...
