Everytime I try to use Word, it will either lock up or shutdown pc and
restart. How do I solve this problem? It is doing this everytime I use Word
for a document.

Jim, please don't go through what I went through. I don't know how to tell
you how to find my thread, so do a search for "Word locks up /must restart"
and you should find mine. I finally resolve the very same problem. Something
is going on with your word program and another program you have starting in
your startup. Read all of the threads--the date is 2/4/05 (the first one.)
These people are very helpful, so keep trying. Make sure you read all of the
threads.
