Saving documents
If I open a document and then close it without making any changes, I still
get a message asking if I want to save the changes. Using Word 2002, Vista X64. -- Jim Craig Hendersonville, NC |

Do you have some sort of an autodate field in that document?

Yes, I think that's it. The document I checked has an autodate field - I
checked another document in which I could find no auto update field and still got the same message, but there may be one lurking somewhere in it - it's a 12 page document. I checked some simpler documents and didn't get the message, so I won't worry about it anymore. Thanks. Jim "JoAnn Paules" wrote in message ...
