Default one picture spread out over two pages?

Hello,

I have got a question about Word. I have cut one picture (digitally ).)
into two halves. Now I want the left half of the picture on every uneven page
in the background (maybe as a watermark) and the right half on every even
page in the background. This way when you open my report, it looks like one
big picture.

Oh yeh...can a printer, which supports printing al the way to the edge,
print the two halve pictures all the way to the edge (when I place the
margins in Word to the edge)? Or is this a Word thing and do I have to make
my report into an PDF-file?

Thanks in advance,

Put the left picture in the left page header, and the right picture in the
right page header, this will get them to show up on all pages. If your
printer prints to the edges just make sure you have the printer driver for
this printer installed in Windows and it should all work.

First of all: usually, even pages are on the left side, and odd on the
right. You can certainly tell Word that you want different odd/even
header/footers, and anchor the pictures there and send them behind the
text. Not all printer show exactly the desired results IIRC. :-(

Actually, I've never tried to do that with Word. You would definitely
need to try this out with the exact printer driver you intend to use. I
would wager that even then, you'll get some unprintable margin, but YMMV.

If that doesn't work, I'm not sure converting to PDF first will help
much (unless you choose an oversized page size, which is usually done
when you want to print anything to the edge).

Oke, thanks...

I will try that, but I have to make different sections...don't I?

He,

I got it. When in the header and footer I got the little toolbar. There is a
button which says page setup. There I can cross of in the header footer
section, the function: "different odd even"....This works.

Thanks Tim, you pointed me in the right direction, maybe you even mend this
but I didn't understand.

Signing off,

Greetings,

Piet
