Default Getting rid of paragraph character

Good day,

Quick question: when creating a table, how can we get rid of the paragraph
character that immediately follows the table. It sometimes causes a second
page to be created when not necessary.

Thank you.

You can't. It has to be there. You can usually format it as hidden
text (don't display hidden text) or format the size to 1pt and this
will eliminate the extra page.
