Word and Outlook 2000

User is having problems sending a document to Outlook. She opens document,
does a File | Send To | Mail Recipient as Attachment. The document cannot
be opened by the recipient who is also an Outlook user.
She sent me the document and it arrived as a .txt file and was only 1kb.
When she attached the document from an email message instead of sending from
Word, it arrived properly, had a .doc extension and was 22kb.



A co-worker believes she's seen this behavior before and swears it is a Word
problem but cannot remember the fix. I'm not so sure. Has anyone else seen
this type of thing before? TIA.
