Default Keep original date on prior word documents when viewed date stays

How do change the settings so that when I view a saved Word document, it does
not automatically change the date to the current date.

don't use a mere DATE field but something else (raw text, SAVEDATE,
PRINTDATE, CREATEDATE ...), or lock the DATE field.
