Default Text Becomes Jumbled When Printed

One of our users constantly experiences a problem of text getting jumbled on
the right hand side when the document is sent to her printer. Others who use
the same printer do not have this problem. The printers is an HP LaserJet
4200n with the latest drivers. We are using Word 2002.

Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated!

I would suggest reinstalling the printer driver on the user's PC.

According to contributor Bob Buckland -
"It's a bug that somehow seems to have Word misreading temporary files
related to the printer currently in use. You can usually 'unscramble' the
display from File=Print and switch to the printer properties or to another
printer then your normal one, or close Word and delete all files found on
Start=Search and looking for ~$*.*;*.tmp as the name string then
restarting Word.
