Default Starting with the footnotes on in Word...not what I want

Hi!

Everytime I´m starting up Word the marker is in a footnote "position"...not
that I choosed this, as I know of anyway. I´d like to have Word the normal
way again.
Can ya help?

Do ya get what I mean? It´s probably simple to get ride of

Default Starting with the footnotes on in Word...not what I want

It sounds to me as if the default font has become Superscript? If that's
what you mean, go to Format | Font, clear the box for Superscript, click the
Default... button in the lower left corner of the dialog, and answer Yes in
the ensuing dialog.
