Default Blank line between name and address fields in mail merge out

Using Microsoft Office 2007, using a word table with names and addresses as
the data source the preview shows mail merge output as ok with no blank lines.

The actual output shows a blank line between the name and first line of the
address.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks,

Aidan.

Are you using the AddressBlock? Better not to, but just insert the
mergefields that you want to use in the configuration that you want them.

Maybe the blank line is caused by the paragraphs being formatted with a
space before or after them. In that case, either change the formatting of
the paragraphs or have the new lines created by using Shift+Enter.

Hope this helps.
