When do you want to disable the prompt? When opening? When printing?
For information on FILLIN and ASK fields, see the "User Prompts" section in the article at http://gregmaxey.mvps.org/Repeating_Data.htm. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "JustaMessinOffice" wrote in message ... I want to disable the pop ups only when opening a new document. The templates
have been created for someone with very little computer expertise, unfortunately the pop ups gets them all mixed up. I remember in early versions you just clicked on the field in the document to input text. Thanks J "Stefan Blom" wrote: When do you want to disable the prompt? When opening? When printing? As explained at http://gregmaxey.mvps.org/Repeating_Data.htm, you can
use ASK fields instead, if you don't want an automatic prompt. If you just want to click a piece of text and type text, a MACROBUTTON field would work equally well.
