Word links default to OLK folder after being sent in an email
I have a user that created a Word document with some links to files on the
network. When he sent this document (either to himself or anyone else in the company) we discovered that the linked path changed to his OLK folder for the Outlook temp files, which obviously broke the link. Since this is only happening on his machine, I am safely assuming that it is an option in Word on his machine. I looked for some options, but never found any that stood out in my mind. Any ideas? Thanks! |

Hi ?B?SmVzcw==?=,
I have a user that created a Word document with some links to files on the network. Any ideas? Try Tools/OPtions/General/Web options/Files; if the one about updating links when saving files is activated, you've probably found the culprit.
