Default How to use organizer

Hi,

I use Word 2002 on my home machine, and have constructed a modest number of
macros and styles for it. I would like to install the same macros and styles
on my office computer, which runs Word 2003.

I know I have to use the "organizer", but need some advice about how to use
it.

Many thanks in advance for help.

Dan S

The Organizer is not the appropriate tool here (it's for moving macros,
styles, etc., between templates on the same computer). Your best bet is to
save the macros and styles to a template and copy it to the other computer.
See http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/MacrosVBA/...buteMacros.htm for a start.

Thank you, Susan. Do I use the organizer to save macros and styles to a new
template? Once I have the new template, how do I save it to normal.dot on
the other computer.

Thanks in advance,

Dan S

Hi Dan,

See my article. While you can move customizations into normal.dot on the new
machine, there is no real reason to do so.
