Default my Word document zooms up to 500% when I connect to a projector

When viewing thru an external monitor (from laptop) view is normal; when I
connect the laptop to a big screen projector for viewing b y a large group,
the document automatically "Zooms" up to 500% and it cannot be changed.

See if there is an updated driver available for the projector. This sounds
like a driver problem.
