Default MS Word: How can I change formatting marks to gray like on a Mac?

Re MS Word (Office XP): When running word on a Macintosh, the formatting
marks (paragraph marks, tab marks, space marks, etc.) show in gray, and
therefore don't distract from the text. On a PC the formatting marks are
black, or else you have to turn them off altogether. Is there any way to
make them gray on a PC?

No practical way, anyway. You'd have to select each individual space, tab,
paragraph break, etc., and change the font color.
