Can anyone refer me to a beginners guide or tutorial on bookmarks? I have
never used them but want to learn how. All the information I am finding is
making me think I am missing something basic for it all to make sense.

Use Word's Help and enter bookmark in the window for Index.
Lots of good tips there and just the subjects showing will tell
you a lot.

Well, yes, of course - that's what I did first. What I wanted to do was mark
each instance of the same kind of thing throughout the document so I could
find them again later. It looks as if each bookmark has to have a unique name
rather than being able to bookmark each instance of something. I suppose I
could index them but I don't want it to interfere with my regular indexing
later. Maybe I am just not thinking about it accurately. With all that I have
learned about Word in the last couple of years, I have yet to use this
feature and I want to start using it.
