Line Numbering - Maximum Number of Lines
Has anyone run into a limit for the maximum number of lines that can be
numbered? I'm working on a very large file (approx. 3500 pages) and needed to number the lines, but Word stops after line 65534, which is only about 1/3 of the way through the file. Are there any work arounds for this? |

Line Numbering - Maximum Number of Lines
No workaround, unfortunately, as this is "by design." See
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/214222 While the article is for Word 2000, I don't have any reason to believe this has changed in later versions. -- Suzanne S.
