Default symbols

I am looking for a symbol it looks like a plus sign with a minus below it in
microsoft word? also how do i type text in a vertical line in a table in
microsoft word?

Default symbols

1. Activate NUMLOCK on your keyboard. Then hold the Alt key while
pressing 0177 on the numeric keypad.

2. In order to type text vertically in a table cell, you have to click
Text Direction on the Format menu. Choose the desired format, and then
click OK.
