Default Speech to text

Hi...

Can I use an audio file as input and using speech recognition, is it
possible to convert it into a doc file?

Regards

In theory, yes. You can try it. I've had very mixed results because unless
it's my own voice, the computer hasn't been trained for that particular
speaker.

I do it by putting a microphone inside one of the cups on a pair of
headphones. I start speech and dictation in Word, then start the audio file.

At the very least, the results usually are quite amusing.
