Default How to Find Highlighted Words in a Document?

When I write a long essay, I insert many footnotes for which I do not have
all the necessary information. Thus, I highlight the numbers, words or
questions marks that need to be checked, verified and completed at a later
time. Is there a way I can run a search and find in Word 2003 or 2007 for
these highlights?

If so, please let me know.

In Word 2008 for Mac, there is an option in the find to search for
formatting. It is probably in Word 2003 and 2007 as well.
