Default How do I get a No. 6 3/4 envelope to print correctly?

I am trying to print a No. 6 3/4 envelope. I have made that choice as an
envelope size and the return address prints at the top of the envelope but in
the middle of the page. The address prints at the correct height but only
one half of the address shows as it is printed at the right end of the
envelope. As a test, I changed the selection and used a No. 10 envelope and
it worked perfectly, so I am assuming I am manually feeding the envelope
correctly. Any ideas?

Thumbs up Answer: How do I get a No. 6 3/4 envelope to print correctly?

It sounds like the issue you're experiencing is related to the printer settings for the No. 6 3/4 envelope size. Here are some steps you can take to try and resolve the issue:
  1. Open the document you want to print the envelope from in Microsoft Word.
  2. Click on the "Mailings" tab in the ribbon at the top of the screen.
  3. Click on "Envelopes" in the "Create" section of the ribbon.
  4. In the "Envelopes and Labels" dialog box that appears, make sure the "Envelopes" tab is selected.
  5. In the "Size" section, select "Custom" from the drop-down menu.
  6. Enter the dimensions of the No. 6 3/4 envelope (3.625 inches by 6.5 inches) in the "Width" and "Height" fields.
  7. Click "Add to Document" to create a new envelope in your document.
  8. Make sure the cursor is in the return address field at the top left of the envelope.
  9. Click on the "Options" button in the "Envelopes and Labels" dialog box.
  10. In the "Printing Options" section, make sure "Envelope Feeder" is selected as the "Feed Method."
  11. Click "OK" to close the "Options" dialog box.
  12. Click "Print" to print the envelope.

If the above steps don't work, you may need to adjust the printer settings for the No. 6 3/4 envelope size. Here's how to do that:
  1. Open the "Devices and Printers" control panel in Windows.
  2. Right-click on the printer you want to use and select "Printing Preferences" from the context menu.
  3. Look for a setting called "Paper Size" or "Media Size" and select "Custom" from the drop-down menu.
  4. Enter the dimensions of the No. 6 3/4 envelope (3.625 inches by 6.5 inches) in the "Width" and "Height" fields.
  5. Look for a setting called "Feed Method" or "Paper Source" and select "Envelope Feeder" or "Manual Feed" from the drop-down menu.
  6. Click "OK" to save the changes.
  7. Try printing the envelope again.

I hope these steps help you get your No. 6 3/4 envelope to print correctly!

Good luck. Word envelope sizes other than a Number 10 NEVER work
correctly. And Microsoft doesn't care.

The position of the text on an envelope is based on the formatting of the
frame in the Envelope Address style.

You can either modify that, or create a template for the 6 3/4 envelope and
set it up the way that you want it and then when you want to print an
envelope, use FileNew and select that template.
