Default How to Microsoft Office Specialist User level

I must get a certificate for specialist level for MOS word, excel, powerpoint.
I live in Japan.
I have to go to a Japanese Microsoft school and take exams in Japanese
language.
I am having difficulties in reading warning messages and others, taking too
much time for interpreting the chinese characters.
I am an user who is starting now, but I can fullfill most of preparation of
documentations in the office, where I currently work in Japanese, English and
Portuguese.
I intend to take MS word lessons in the classroom and have a PC at home.
I would like to buy a new PC for my home, but I don't which language version
would be more suitable for me, in this case.
Also, this debate space would be much helpful for me, overcoming the
language problems.
Thanks.

So your question is whether you should buy an English or Japanese version of
Word? Keep in mind that, regardless of the language of the UI (the menus,
dialogs, and so on), you will be able to enable all the languages and (if
you get the Proofing Tools) check spelling and grammar in all of them,
regardless of which language version you get. One consideration, if you do
get the Japanese version, is that it probably includes proofing tools for
English. But if you are having difficulty reading the kanji in the Japanese
version, I would not advise getting that.
