Hi,

I'm translating a long article on biochemistry for an environmental
group; there are several images in the txt graphs, that I've been able to
translate
since the 'edit picture' option is available - now I've come across others
where this option is not available, I guess this means that they are
imported images - does this mean that it's useless trying to find a means of
modifying the text (to translate it)
or is this possible ? 'Properties' is not available so I don't know the
origin of the
image ...

Thanks to all,

Nash

Yes, you should get a decent graphics program and work on them in that. But
this may also not be able to handle the text as a separate entity from the
rest of the picture...

With some skill and plenty of time, you could probably replace the text in
the image with PhotoShop.
With less skill you could place a text box over the image with the much
cheaper SnagIt (try the demo - www.techsmith.com).
You may even be able to put a text box over the offending text in Word and
fill it with your new text.
