Drawing Canvas Not Displayed in Normal View
I am unable to see pictures within documents when they are displayed in
Normal View, but can see them in Print Layout. In the Options/View Menu, I have Drawings Selected and Picture Placeholders deselected. On the Display Control Panel I have the hardware acceleration set to 2 of 5. What next? Thanks in advance, Barb Reinhardt |

Hi Barb,
Normal view does not support the display of graphics, tools or objects not set as Layout style 'in line with text'. The Drawing canvas can be set to inline with text and will reserve a space in what you see in Normal view but, you're correct, it won't display its content as the content is 'floating' within the Canvas. ======= "Barb R." wrote in message ... So in order to edit the Drawing Canvas, I must be in Print Layout?
Thanks for your quick response. Barb "Bob Buckland ?:-)" wrote: Hi Barb, Normal view does not support the display of graphics, tools or objects not set as Layout style 'in line with text'. All your options affect only Print Layout view. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org |
