I cannot seem to delete headers\footers placed on WORD documents whereby a
WORDPERFECT document was migrated to WORD and along with the mess in
formatting, headers\footers were attached.

Perhaps someone might be able to assist me with the secret to deleting this
option from my documents.

Many documents imported from WordPerfect have many sections; if these are
not linked, then deleting the header/footer from one page/section will not
delete the header/footer from a subsequent section. Often the easiest way to
begin is to delete all the section breaks (Find ^b and Replace with
nothing).
