I want to paste images in the word files as a Linked Object. so that when i
edit the images it get refleced in the word file. also when i change the
location of my image folder and word files they should open properly

Hi MCAX,

Use Insert|Picture|From File and, when you've selected the picture, click on
the down arrow next to the 'Insert' box and select 'Link to File'.
