Default How do I stop my cursor from jumping to other places when typing?

When I'm typing in word, all of a sudden the cursor has jumped to a different
place in the document and continues typing there. It can skip a couple of
lines and can go up or down the document. So frustrating!
It's not the shift f5 function that takes you back to the previous place you
edited... I(I've already tried that) It's not happening now, so it must be
word!
