Default Gridlines when opening MS Word 2000

Hi all,

It doesn't appear to be a table, but everytime i open MS Word even if it is
a new document it always displays gridlines on the whole page which looks
like a graphing paper. But when clicking print preview the gridlines are not
visible. Does anyone encountered this problem?
