Default how to determine the number of rows in a large Word table?

I have built over time a large mailing list (approx 2000 rows) in Word. How
can I get an accurate row count?

Use a macro with the code

MsgBox Selection.Tables(1).Rows.Count

when the cursor is in the table

Hi Bob,

You could use the TableCellHelper macro in the Macros8.dot template referred
to at:
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/...eIncorrect.htm
For a row count, simply select any cell on the last row and run the macro.

Cheers

And for a third option, copy and paste into Excel.

Or if you just want to find out without a macro, position the cursor in the
last row and select Table Properties Row (tab) from the Menu and it will
say Row #1234 at the top.

Enjoy,
Tony
