Find Merge Fields
I am creating an Access application that creates Word documents from a
template. One of the templates is a Mail Merge template that we use in another process. Is there a way to "find" these fields and populate them with my current database records? I can do it fine with bookmarks but I really don't want to have 2 of the same template, one for bookmarks and one for mail merge. Even point me to some code samples if known. Thanks. David |

If the mergefield names match the field names in your database, there is
nothing more that you would need to do other than to attach the table in the database as the datasource for the mailmerge main document. If the field names don't match, you could create a query in Access that had field names that do match. -- Hope this helps.
