mail merge
I have an access database that uses a module to call word to do a merge.
When i call the merge the datasource is not pulling up. This worked fine in 2002 and previous versions of Word and Access. Now it wants me to map the fields out every time even though I have gone in and tried to modify the mail merge fields. I can type in the fields this time however, it will not automatically change when the infromation from Access changes now. Can anyone tell me what we need to do to a merge in 2003 to make it work like it did in 2002? We are converting to office 2003 and would greatly appreciate any help offered. Thanks!!! |

Just a guess, but I suspect that you have encountered the problem described
in http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;825765 However, you probably would have seen that before if you had moved to the current Office 2002 service pack.
