Default How do I take away spacing marks in my document?

Somehow I changed something in my Word "Diary Document", and I have the
character "." marking the spaces between words, and ".." marking the spaces
between sentences. Help! Thanks, Tom Tucker

Click the Pilcrow button on the formatting toolbar, or use Tools Options.
