Are there funny voices for Word?
I want to type words and then get them to be played back to me with a funny
voice. Is it possible and/or How? I am using Microsoft Office Word 2007 |

Are there funny voices for Word?
There are plenty of third-party products which will do things like speak
aloud the selected text in a window. Search on "speak" and "selected text". I seem to recall names like "text-a-loud" and "first byte" and "nextup". I recall others that had you place the text on the clipboard and it would be spoken. Another route is to write a macro to do this. Windows comes with speech capability built-in, so this won't cost you any money. See the topic of SAPI (speech applications programming interface) for instructions on how to do this, although I recall seeing many vba example programs. hth, Chip "Mr. Mysterious" Mr. wrote in message ...
