I have a style called Table-heading, table-text, table-footer and i am using
it for a document which is very big(500+ pages). All other styles works fine
so far the problem I have is with these three styles where automatically
update option get checked automatically. I uncheck it and the after few page
when i use these styles againg the option is checked on. !!!!! very
strange...any thoughts???

Which version of Word?

Does your document (or its template) contain any macros?

Where are you seeing this auto update setting (I can think of at least two
places, which is why I have to ask)?
