Default Table calculation using none integers always results in zero

Hi,

I have a strange situation with one of my word 2003 installations.

At this installation calculations are resulting to zero if other
values then integers are used.

For example: a1 = 10; =A1*5 results in 50 but A1 = 10.5 results in
zero.

The same doc is working fine at other installations.

OS is Windows XP Prof. SP2 all patches with Office 2003 SP1 all
Patches.

Any ideas?

One additional info:

The zero calculation appears only when opening the document over a
network share. Copying the document to a local disk and opening from
there works ok.

If anybody is interested in the solution here is the reason for this
problem:

I run into these problems after installing Microsoft Services for Unix
to establish some NFS Server functions.

After a completly uninstallation of SFU problems in Word Tables are
gone!
