Default Automatically sizing text in tables

Hi, I have a mege document set up that uses tables. The rows in these tables
are set to a specific size. Is there a way to format the main document so
that if the text inside a cell is too large to fit, that it will
automatically reduce the font size?

Thank you for your help.

If you're using Word 2000 or above, there is a setting in Table Properties |
Cell | Cell Options to "Fit text."
