Hi,
I need some help regarding the styles. I created two different templates for 2 different clients. The first one was fine, but when i prepared the second one the 2 nd client found the styles which has been used in 1 st template. These styles has been present in (Pick formatting to apply) list. is there any way that i can remove these styles at one go from my second doc because i cannot identify the styles used in first doc and second doc which has been merged. Please suggest. -- Thanks & Regards Rathish |

In the combined document, there is no way for Word to tell from where the
styles originated; you will have to manually delete the styles that you want to get rid of. Note that you can restrict the use of styles in a template (as well as in documents later created from that template). Use the Restrict Formatting and Editing task pane (Word 2007) or the Protect Document task pane (Word 2003). In the case of Word 2003, you may want to take a look at the following article: Restrict formatting of a document http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/wo...CH010397751033 -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "Rathish" wrote: Hi, I need some help regarding the styles.
