How can I get rid of a vertical black line which has appeared in .
I have created an index for a book and mysteriously one of the entries has a
vertical black line next to it. I have tried deleting the entry and retyping it. It's still there. Will be grateful for your help. I am using WordXP. |

Sounds as if you have Track Changes enabled. If TRK on your status bar is
black (rather than gray), double-click to turn it off, then Accept All Changes in Document. -- Suzanne S.
