We have the Word Count showing up in the status bar of Microsoft 2003. I
know in 2007 you can just right click on the status bar to remove this
feature. How do we get rid of it in 2003.

Hi Kim,

In Word 2003 there is a Word count toolbar that can be docked near the status bar and you can turn it off by right clicking on it
and unmarking the 'Word Count' toolbar.

If it's actually displaying in the status bar in Word 2003 then that would be from an add-in.
