Click on Start | Control Panel | Regional and Language Options |
Languages | Details | Settings. Set the "Default input language" to whatever you want to use. Under "Installed services", remove languages you don't use, and add languages you do use. You've probably accidentally switched between US and UK keyboards. Press
Left-Alt+Shift to switch the keyboard language back. -- Enjoy, Tony "Apshley" wrote in message ... My keyboard is typing quotation marks " where my @ symbol should be and @ for where my quotation marks " should be. How do I change that back? |

Hello,
We are having the same trouble, and have tried all of these suggestions. However the @ is still " etc. Is there anything else we could try? thanks "garfield-n-odie" wrote: Click on Start | Control Panel | Regional and Language Options | Languages | Details | Settings. Does this occur in new documents or in particular old documents? If the
latter then this could reflect taht the document has been converted from Word Perfect and you don't have the relevant Word Perfect font installed. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org K-J wrote: Hello, We are having the same trouble, and have tried all of these suggestions. Hi Graham,
It occurs in new documents. I did seemed to fix it through the regional settings. I changed the keyboard to US international and removed some text lanugage thing. That seemed to fix it. But, now my delete key doesn't delete. Do you suggest a particular keyboard setting for Toshiba Laptops? thanks for your help KJ "Graham Mayor" wrote: Does this occur in new documents or in particular old documents?
