Default How do I get a formula "=SUM(ABOVE)" to work in a protected WORD .

I have a Word Document with a Totals column that has Text Form fields. The
last cell is where I want the SUM to appear. Word does not pick up the
numerical entries in the Text form Fields whether the document is protected
or not. I need to protect the document and have the SUM function work.

Monica,

Double click one of your variable value input fields. Do you have
"Calculate on exit" checked. If you are performing calculations you
should also use a numberical field type vice text.
