Table of Contents Update
Hi Unicorn66-
You might first take a look in the InsertReferenceIndex & TablesTOC dialog box & make sure there is a check in the box to 'Show page numbers'. If not, that is the problem. If the check is in the box & the pg #s still don't show up, post back with more detail includeing version of Word, etc. HTH |:) "Unicorn66" wrote: My page number (alpha/numerical or ex. 2-A) does not show on my table of contents when I update entire table. |

In my index/reference and show numbers was checked. I have Microsoft Word
2003. In the page number option it shows a sample of numeral and alpha but it shows you have to use it as a chapter. Is it because of this version 2003 it will not allow for the numerical alpha as a page number, basically maybe it does not recognize it. Also on my page numbers shown at the bottom, the numbers are highlighted in gray and alpha is not.
